Who We Are
Diabetes Wayfinder is a collaboration between the Diabetes Research & Treatment Center (DRTC) and Empower Health. This initiative aims to connect those living with diabetes, their families, and caregivers to diabetes resources such as health professionals, pharmacies, treatment centers, support groups, and education programs.

The Diabetes Research & Treatment Centre Inc. (DRTC) was established in 1996 as an interdisciplinary group to promote research, education and treatment of diabetes. The DRTC is a charitable organization with national scope that seeks to raise awareness of diabetes mellitus as a major public health problem affecting all age groups and ethnicities.

Empower Health has been using advanced technology to connect patients and healthcare providers since 2012. Through digital healthcare tools including directories and EMR-integrated online appointment booking, Empower Health transforms the way stakeholders connect to healthcare systems.
